Gate Hand is the new project of Francesca Burattelli and Claus Haxholm. With both artists being unique voices in the copenhagen experimental music scene, this match creates a deeply atmospheric and dramatic symbiosis. Their debut album "Songs to the Keeper" deals with buildings as characters or living beings with the ability to both protect people as well as hurt or consume them. Out of this architectural pseudo-paranoia the lyrics weave in and out of visions and fever-dreamlike situations in a blend of surreal ambiances and contemporary pop. The album was made in the past autumn months and slightly reflects a feeling of transition. The steady changes in the danish landscape are subtly mirrored in the emotional states of the music.
